In 2009, I spent my birthday on a flight from Malaysia to the UK. I was set on pursuing a degree in Optometry at Cardiff University. Many birthdays later, I still find myself fascinated by what the field of optics and optometry has to offer.

Having required spectacles and contact lenses from a young age, I was no stranger to attending optician appointments growing up. I was inspired by how my local optometrist had influenced my life and today, at Taylor-West, I strive to have the same positive impact on all our patients.

As a resident in south west London, I am passionate about providing eyecare to the local community. At the same time, I am excited to meet new patients and improve their quality of life by providing high-quality vision care.

Apart from my role at Taylor-West, I also work in the Glaucoma Service and Retinal Therapy Unit at Moorfields Eye Hospital. After graduating in 2012, I have continuously sought to improve my skills and have since gained additional prescribing rights for prescription eye medicines, as well as further qualifications in Glaucoma and Medical Retina. I am a firm believer that one’s learning should never stop, no matter the experience.

Work aside, I enjoy badminton, travelling, and yummy food!
